Ok, grab your trash bag and get to work…

Throw it out if…

Cabinets – if it has more the words “partially hydrogenated” in the ingredient list
– sugar is in the first 3 ingredients
– the ingredient list is over half the length of the box
– it has over 5g of fat per serving
– if it’s something you eat when you’re bored
– if it’s something you eat in front of the tv only
– juices that aren’t 100% juice
– it’s stale or expired
– canned items without the words “low sodium” or “no added salt”

Refrigerator – if it has more the words “partially hydrogenated” in the ingredient list
– sugar is in the first 3 ingredients
– soda
– if it’s something you eat when you’re bored
– if it’s something you eat in front of the tv only
– it’s moldy or expired
– all cream based salad dressing (ranch, French, thousand island)
– it’s full fat protein (cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese)

Freezer – all meals in a box!
– frozen burned
– been there longer than 6 months
– sugar filled Popsicles and other frozen treats
– fried
– covered in cheese or cream

Everywhere else- have giant boxes of food from Costco or similar store that you’re storing in the garage or other closet? If it’s been sitting there longer than 3 months, trash it!

Start fresh and make room for healthier, more nutritious food!
